Background
I am currently a Doctoral Researcher at Lancaster University. I graduated in Fine Art at Liverpool Hope University and also completed my Master’s in Contemporary Art and Performance at Liverpool Hope. There, I built a strong foundation in painting and material exploration .The Masters study developed a strong connection to an autoethnographic way of working, which led to a deep interest in research.
Painting has been part of my practice since the beginning. For more than a decade, I worked full-time in the information technology industry after completing my degree at the University of Manchester. Throughout those years, I continued to paint, developed independent projects, and continued learning from various independent artists.
For the past decade, I have dedicated myself fully to contemporary painting, research, and teaching. My main studio is located in Liverpool, UK. Studio visits are possible by appointment.
